I have tried to downgrade the driver to maverick version. This did not solve the problem. My new suspicion is that this is a compiz bug. also reflected here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/723002.
I will try to disable compiz and see what happens. Will report back later. ** Also affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel Status: New => Invalid ** Project changed: xserver-xorg-video-intel => about-sabily-sub-menu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/763688 Title: [915GM] S-video output doesn't work in Natty (i386) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/763688/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
