fixed: 1.- edit /etc/grub.d/10_linux as root ($sudo gedit /etc/grub.d/10_linux) 2.- search "set gfxpayload=/$linux_gfx_mode" and replace for "set gfxpayload=$linux_gfx_mode" (remove the "/",arround line 98 inside this file) 3.- save it. 4.- Run "$sudo update-grub" 4.- reboot ($sudo reboot)
