You have been subscribed to a public bug: I have a new system using an ASUS mb P8H67M LX. Intel i5 CPU. Monitor is a Visionquest.
Monitor does 1920x1200. Seems this is not available using chipset/driver using sudo hwinfo --framebuffer. 1920x1440 is available. Result is monitor at 1680x1050 and Ubuntu at 1680x1200 (a guess). This results in funky video, bottom of display missing and lock ups. Mouse moves, but a hardware reset is required. Setting video to 1280x1024 results in stable video but distorted display because aspect ratio is wrong. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Ubuntu 11.04 Sandy Bridge Video Mode Sync Problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/780233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
