This seems to be the contents of FBOs being trashed across as
suspend/resume cycle.  It seems that nvidia fixed a similar problem for
GNOME Shell in http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-display-
amd64-275.09.07-driver.html - we should ask if this can be generalised,
or a similar fix put in for Unity.
