You have been subscribed to a public bug: My touchpad doesn't respond at all, and my keyboard doesn't respond until I press the menu-key, I've tried to do clean installs of Ubuntu again on my laptop, but even during the setup, it wouldn't work. It just started happening recently - it used to work up until yesterday. As far as I know - Ubuntu isn't showing me that I even have hotkey-setup installed, so when I tried to use
sudo /etc/init.d/hotkey-setup stop then tried to use: sudo apt-get install rcconf sudo update-rcconf-guide sudo rcconf there wasn't even a file for it listed in /etc/init.d/ I'm running Ubuntu Natty 32bit - on a CQ60-200z ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete ** Tags: error keyboard not responding touchpad -- atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xaa on isa0060/serio0) on Ubuntu 11.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/840704 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
