OK, I think I found the ultimate workaround. :) If you hate running randr all the time, as much as I do, you can try this:
1.- Make sure your 'Section "Device"' contains this: Driver "intel" 2.- Add the following section: Section "Monitor" Identifier "TV" Option "TV Format" "PAL" EndSection That's it. Every time you turn your computer on, you'll see everything with color on your TV. See the attachment for a sample xorg.conf file. HTH. ** Attachment added: "My /etc/X11/xorg.conf file." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/29793200/xorg.conf -- Black and white S-video output only on PAL TVs with intel video driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109934 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
