This bug is stating that the intel gaming performance on linux is much poorer than it is on windows. That's a fact and does not need any log or conf files to be provided. Although the title is a bit misleading as the 2d and video performance is quite snappy in the current 2.8 driver.
The current situation is identical for open source ati and nvidia drivers which perform much worse than fglrx and and the closed source nvidia driver. Nvidia and ati has mostly the same gaming performance in linux and windows.
