Ah.  The invalid pointer bit is a red herring.  The actual problem here
is that X is segfaulting in your input driver - evdev_drv.

Annoyingly, this is the only frame in your backtrace which hasn't been
successfully retraced.  If you can reproduce this crash, could you
please try following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and
installing the xserver-xorg-input-evdev-dbgsym package before
reproducing it?  Hopefully then the automatic crash dump will be able to
resolve the crash better.
