I have the exact same problem here. I also installed Ubuntu 11.10 (i used the "Beta 1 LiveCD" but my packages are all up to date at the moment)
I'll try to attatch the log-files too... (launchpad is a bit confusing) PS: this bug affects all Ubuntu-Version. If i use the "PS2 Driver" the rightclicking part works just fine.
