Hi, I have the same computer as this (TE2100 Toshiba laptop), with the same graphics card.
I have also followed the instructions at http://blog.freshnewpage.com/2008/04/26/nvidia-geforce4-420-go-on-ubuntu-804-hardy-heron/ and I have my graphical interface back, the driver is working (I can select the extra features now in 'Appearance>Visual Effects' and they work), but the screen size won't budge from 800x600. I have a big black line down the right side of the screen. I've just tried adding your edid.bin file instead, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. I'm not sure what I should do /what I've done wrong. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! -- GeForce4 420 Go issue https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348905 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-96 in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
