Tested with metacity ("metacity --replace") configured as the compositing manager ("gconf-editor /apps/metacity/general" and checking compositing_manager).
In a plain gnome-terminal, I'm still seeing the problem when recalling command-line history ("ctrl+r" and start typing). The corruption however disappears when the window size is changed, for example when maximising it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/861268 Title: text corruption in terminals (xterm, urxvt) and emacs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/861268/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
