Public bug reported:
The brightness of the laptop screen (Dell D430, intel video, standard
driver) always resets to minmized when screen turns off and on again.
While trying to make it maximized using standard keys the brightness
progress bar does not function properly - if one presses continuously
"brightness up" the progress bar goes up and then down with every press.
Still after several presses it's possible to maximize the brightness of
the screen.
