@Rick What issue are you referring to specifically? Is there a bug reported for this? If there is, and the downgrade fixes the problem, then this bug can be marked as a duplicate of it. Otherwise, a bug describing the problem specifically should probably be reported, and this could be marked as a duplicate of this bug.
@Ken Sharp Since this bug requires more information in order to be worked on by a developer, including the information that Rick has requested (whether or not downgrading xserver-xorg-core and xserver-common works around the problem), I am marking this bug Incomplete. When providing this information, please feel free to change this bug's status back to New. ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/878235 Title: System unusable after update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/878235/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
