hi. Check all the files in /etc/ld.so.conf.d and /etc/X11/Xsession.d . It you added a line that ruins everything..I think that this is the place to look for. Either that or make a vbox with ubuntu with a fresh install and replace these two directories with original ones ;). Good luck
