Steps to reproduce:
1) Let "Turn off screen after ..." for instance 1 hour, disable screen locking
2) Wait 1 hour
3) When you return and move the mouse, the mouse cursor is visible and
indicates that you could work on the desktop (cursor turns to text pointer, for
instance, if you move it over a position where a text field should be), but
everything is blacked out.
4) Only "sudo service lightdm restart" helps (but all work is lost then)
