We have disabled the GPU freeze handler for the release, so these falsely triggered error messages will no longer occur in oneiric.
For precise, I will be experimenting with altering the freeze handler to not trigger on these false positives, but that work is being tracked elsewhere. If that does not get done or does not work, I'll start a new master bug for false gpu lockups using a report filed against precise. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/828684 Title: [i965gm] False GPU lockup EIR: 0x00000010 PGTBL_ER: 0x00000100 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver/+bug/828684/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
