I suggest a good workaround for this bug, and also bug 880707, is to enable: "Force full screen redraws (buffer swap) on repaint" in the Workarounds section of ccsm. You might also need to tick "Don't wait for video sync".
Now for the first time in a long time I have a tear-free sandybridge graphics experience. If you don't have ccsm installed, you can get it by installing package "compizconfig-settings-manager". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/755841 Title: [sandybridge] video tearing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/755841/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
