hello, I just wanted to add that the deb from Seth (#492) works great for me on my HP pavilion dm1 on Ubuntu 11.10. Hopefully it'll be integrated upstream since it looks like it's working for quite a few (unfortunally not everyone yet). With this patch, it's the first time i fully enjoy everything my laptop has to offer since I bought it.
