Same problem here in Oneric. Macbook1,2 Swiss-french keyboard The "@" is on the "G" key. Under OSX, we print it using ALT+g.
a workaround for me is to remap the Right Command key (apple key) to act as AltGr for xmodmap : clear Mod4 keycode 134 = ISO_Level3_Shift add Mod4 = Super_L So tu right command key still act as a Super key, and the right one as a AltGr. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-keyboard in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/796864 Title: Can't use AltGr on a French MacBook To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-keyboard/+bug/796864/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
