Sorry, I performed some other tests and they proved I was wrong with bailer.
Now it seems that the situation can be simply improved by deactivating the FPS detection, and forcing the framerate to 120Hz. In this way the performance is acceptable. However, now I'm writing from gnome-shell, and it's sad to repeat, but here there simply isn't any problem.
