What would I need to do to determine if this video card needs a quirk? Is there anything that you would like me to test?
I noticed bug 222905 has a workaround that does get the VGA-0 output working at resolutions up to 1024x768. Running the following commands will turn on the external monitor, with a clone of the laptop's display (LDVS): $ xrandr --output LDVS --mode "800x600" $ xrandr --output LDVS --mode "1024x768" -- Unable to use external display on ATI Radeon IGP320M (U1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384179 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
