I ran: gdb <program> 2>&1 | tee ~/gdb-libreoffice.txt And got the message: bash: syntax error near unexpected token `2' Libreoffice did not start.
I decided to then run: libreoffice And got the message Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "globalmenu-gtk" Then, I decided to open libreoffice, then typed: gdb 2>&1 | tee gdb-libreoffice.txt I followed the backtrace ubuntu wiki as best I could, so sorry if I didn't do this correctly. I attached the .txt backtrace file. ** Attachment added: "Libreoffice backtrace" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/892967/+attachment/2605183/+files/gdb-libreoffice.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/892967 Title: libreoffice looks completely messed up when opened To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/892967/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
