You have been subscribed to a public bug: Whenever I plug a DP monitor the system recognizes the screen (proper resolution and all) but the display stays blank (no image at all). In dmesg i get a "[drm:intel_dp_complete_link_train] *ERROR* failed to train DP, aborting". If I start the system with the monitor plugged in, then it works, but it usually fails after a sleep or screen saver blank screen. And of course it does not work if I unplug it and the plug it again.
