You have been subscribed to a public bug: After I resume from suspend in my oneiric system, I get various odd behaviors in compiz.
In all cases, I get the following symptoms: * The mouse still works but the cursor does not display. * They keyboard (mostly) doesn't work. I can still alt-tab, but I can't seem to type or press Super. In addition, I've seen a couple different symptoms (I get one or the other): 1) gtk-window-decorator crashes 2) The firefox window I was looking at (maximized) is now unmaximized and displaying the orange 'resize grabs' ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: compiz 1:0.9.5.0-0ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-8.10-generic 3.0.1 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-8-generic i686 Architecture: i386 BootLog: udevd[290]: error: runtime directory '/run/udev' not writable, for now falling back to '/dev/.udev' fsck from util-linux 2.19.1 /dev/sda1: clean, 1054118/9519104 files, 20999301/38075904 blocks (check in 2 mounts) CompizPlugins: [core, bailer, detection, composite, opengl, decor, mousepoll, vpswitch, regex, animation, snap, expo, move, compiztoolbox, place, grid, imgpng, gnomecompat, wall, ezoom, workarounds, resize, fade, unitymtgrabhandles, scale, session, unityshell] CompositorRunning: compiz Date: Sun Aug 14 11:26:59 2011 DistUpgraded: Log time: 2011-07-27 08:14:46.395010 DistroCodename: oneiric DistroVariant: ubuntu DkmsStatus: virtualbox, 4.1.0, 3.0.0-8-generic, i686: installed EcryptfsInUse: Yes GraphicsCard: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0046] (rev 18) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: CLEVO/KAPOK Computer Device [1558:3100] InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release i386 (20110422) Lsusb: Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0020 Intel Corp.
