Not sure whether this is the same or not. I am running 11.10, 64 bit user1 switches to user2 without logout user2 sees strange results for cursor repainting user2 logs out. user1 gives password. Black screen with small white rectangle at bottom right; 3 black, 4 white bars on left of this No keys or cursor seem to function, so I use reset This is not intermittent but has changed slightly in the way that the cursor works over the past month
