To reproduce:
 * Grab a video like 
http://samplemedia.linaro.org/H264/big_buck_bunny_1080p_H264_AAC_25fps_7200K_short.MP4
 * Run it in vlc, mplayer, or the default player
 * See the window appear
 * X crashes
 * See a screen with white text on black
 * See LightDM start
