Public bug reported: I'm having this bug using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) Beta 1.
The live cd won't boot. It ends with the loading Ubuntu logo being corrupted. Some times I'm able to do alt+sysreq+r then alt+sysreq+e and get to a console and I saw a gpu lockup with nouveau in the dmesg. I also had a similar problem when I tried the beta with Wubi until I installed the nvidia drivers.
