Public bug reported: After the upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04, many rendering glitches started to appear in the UI:
- the shadows appear to be painted over and over without redrawing things under it, so they eventually completely obscure the things below them; for example, the top panel will obscure the firefox tabbar, and mosuing over Dash will cause the shadows to become completely black - there are transient 'gaps' in the launcher, ocyping roughly 1/3 of its height, where it is not rendered at all; the borders of the gaps are flickering and dynamic. a similar glitch happens in Dash - the translucent background of the launcher is sometimes painted several times, so it appears darker than normal - the top panel sometimes flickers These issues do not make the system completely unusable, but complicate its use, especially the shadow problem.
