Public bug reported:

First of all, i'm not sure if this bug is on xorg, fglrx or another
package.. i'm goin with xorg because the workaround create a new xorg
config.

After upgrading to Precise my Ubuntu didn't booted: After the Ubuntu
11.10 loading screen, no login screen was shown... Only a black screen
and a blinking terminal cursor.

The only solution I found to sucessfully login into my computer is:

1. Reboot and choose "recovery mode" on GRUB menu
2. Enable network (so you can leave the read-only mode)
3. Go to the terminal as root
4. Run "aticonfig --initial -f" (so it generate a new Xorg config)
5. Reboot

But I have to do this again on the next boot... this isn't a permanent
'fix'.

Feel free to tell me which command I need to run so I can provide more
details on this issue.
