You have been subscribed to a public bug: On my Samsung NP-900X3A Ultrabook (Ubuntu 11.10 amd64) automatic sign-on after system-startup is activated. The touchpad randomly responds/works - or not.
It seems to be a software-problem to me, as I found two ways to work around this: sign out using the keyboard or plugging in a usb-mouse. either way activates the touchpad. after logout the touchpad works. it also does as soon as a usb-mouse is plugged in and keeps working when the mouse is plugged out again. Also this happens randomly only. Some times it just works as expected. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- Touchpad on Samsung NP-900X3A after system-startup only randomly works. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/958878 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
