Today I experienced a complete lock up of the machine with kernel 3.4rc2, only a few minutes after booting. The only program that was running was Team Viewer 6.
After resetting the machine, the issue did not return and I also was not prompted by Apport to file a bug. So perhaps it was a one-time issue... I will keep reporting my experiences. I have not had the time yet to work with 3.2 again but hopefully I will find some time tonight. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/975083 Title: [sandybridge-gt1] GPU lockup with WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-3.2.0/drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915_drv.c:413 __gen6_gt_wait_for_fifo+0x94/0xa0 [i915]() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/975083/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
