Due to differing output latency between encoders, connectors, and outputs, one display may indeed be a frame or two behind another. Though people usually hold VGA as the gold standard and measure latency compared to a fast CRT.
Thanks for persevering through my branch, your testing was invaluable. Can I ask you test one more? (Possibly two.) 1. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~danvet/drm-intel/log/?h=drm-intel-fixes Our fixes branch to make sure that we have the right patch on its way to Linus for the stable kernel. Failing that, 2. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~danvet/drm-intel/log/?h=drm-intel-next-queued to see if the fix is in my pending queue vs the patches Daniel has already picked up. (So we can get the fix into stable asap.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/946311 Title: only external screen is working with asus zenbook ux31e [eDP1] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/946311/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
