You have been subscribed to a public bug: since i installed ubuntu precise beta2 (also did a daily dist-upgrade) i have some trouble with my usb keyboard.
my keyboard is a cherry smartboard xx44. key presses are not recognized instantly. means: if i click in a terminal and start writing first key hits are ignored. i often only see a 'udo' 'do' or similar by typing sudo. thats pretty annoying with passphrases. i first met a problem with my keyboard using live-cd installer, my keyboard worked only if i unplugged and replugged it. that problem is gone, but still very bad response from it. lsusb: Bus 001 Device 006: ID 046a:0010 Cherry GmbH SmartBoard XX44 ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-keyboard (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment precise -- usb keyboard response is bad https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/986359 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-keyboard in Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
