You have been subscribed to a public bug:

applet (and oll the graphical environment) crash when i try to set up kde 
desktop in dual monitor mode on ATI Radeon X1900.
It seems like bug  https://launchpad.net/~sarvatt/+archive/sru1/+build/3118994. 
I tryed the workaround described in it but it doesn't work for me
