Public bug reported: I installed Skype 2.2.0.35 from the Ubuntu Software Center on my Thinkpad X220 running Precise Pangolin. Skype starts up okay and displays a window with my contacts. But then the mouse pointer starts stuttering, and within 30 seconds, the computer locks up completely and has to be power cycled. The behavior occurs every time.
