Hi, all! To see if this issue remains in later versions of xserver-xorg-video- intel, I've updated the driver via the X updates PPA, which is found here:
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates It would be nice to see if this driver fixes the issue. I'm going to test in the next few days to see if it does fix the issue. Please note that I urge those that are not familiar with Xorg and the breakage that can occur to please stay away from the above link.
