Likewise, some gdb versions crash when starting the X server when attempting to run xkbcomp. This is, amazingly enough, a bug in the kernel's DRM code for suppressing some signals; it should be fixed in 2.6.28 if not earlier. You can disable XKB by passing the -kb option on the server's command line; obviously if you're trying to debug XKB this may cause you some problems and you're probably better off attaching gdb to a running X instead. Alternatively, disable DRI, but again, if DRI is the thing you're trying to debug, that won't help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/990914 Title: segmentation fault when running xkbcomp To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/990914/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
