Please run "apport-collect 344575" to attach more information.
If you have installed radeonhd it will be used. However Ubuntu uses
radeon by default on these cards, so please try removing the radeonhd
driver and see if that works better. If is does not, please file a new
bug with "ubuntu-bug xserver-xorg-video-ati".
BTW, Intrepid (and later) will use xorg.conf if there is one, otherwise
it will autodetect all settings.
