@Tormod, thanks for doing the packaging work on this. Yes, I think it'd be fine for you to post your package to universe. I believe new packages need to go through a review process, but as this is split off from mesa itself I think the review should be straightforward. Go ahead and upload to universe and let me know if you need any help.
