Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
After waking up from suspend the display brightness is completely dimmed. The screen is (almost) black. Using the brightness keys the display brightness can be restored to normal values. This bug is reproducible and occurs every time the computer is woken up. By the way: Once the computer came up after suspend without asking for my password. Unfortunately, I could reproduce that behavior so far. I'm using Ubuntu 9.10alpha4 and a GM965 without compiz. The problems described here came up after the upgrade to 9.10alpha4.
