Hello Michael, or anyone else affected, Accepted xkeyboard-config into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xkeyboard- config/2.5-1ubuntu1.3 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
