Andy, you describe exactly what I'm seeing and I'm on a T520 with Intel Graphics as well.
It just happened again shortly after coming out of suspend. Kicked me back login screen with a segfault in the X log. Same stack trace as the first one. I've installed xserver-xorg-core-dbg xserver-xorg-video-intel-dbg now, hopoing it'll get me a better stack trace.
