My laptop regularly crashes with this error message. I think it only happens after having been on standby before.
Strange thing is, i sometimes get this error message: Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV in XIGetDeviceProperty() But sometimes i have: Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV in XIChangeDeviceProperty() And once i even had: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in XIChangeDeviceProperty() Might it be the same reason with different error messages? I am on Lenovo Thinkpad T420s here with integrated graphics. No Nvidia running either. Looking at the posts above it might be a Thinkpad'ish problem. ** Attachment added: "SIGSEGV in XIGetDeviceProperty()" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/956071/+attachment/3239616/+files/120725_xorg_crash -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/956071 Title: Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV in XIGetDeviceProperty() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/956071/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
