It's still very likely a duplicate. The fix (i.e. the change in the
source code) is independent of the architecture [1], but you're right
that the test kernel is only built for amd64 and I didn't see that
before. The fix will probably be incorporated into the ubuntu kernel
soon. Bug 412492 will then be closed as "Fix Released" and you should be
able to verify that the new kernel also fixes it for you. In the
unlikely event that it doesn't, report it here and unduplicate this bug
report.
[1]: The fix is to increase a timeout from 3 ms to 5 ms.
