Public bug reported:

with my new hp envy 6 sleekpad, I am having trouble with the cliqpad which
makes typing nearly impossible.
It seems to do with palm detection not working (works fine with windows 7, I am
running dual-boot wubi).
i've tried changing palm detection settings using "xinput set-int-prop" command
to various settings with no change in behavior.

my settings are as follows:
        Synaptics Palm Detection (268): 1
        Synaptics Palm Dimensions (269): 4, 100

this computer is relatively new to the market so maybe there is a
hardware issue that needs to be addressed? from the synaptics MAN page
I see that palm detection requires hardware support.

Also, the upper left corner touchpad on/off button does not work under
ubuntu (12.04), and the LED doesn't work, but I have seen that bug
reported elsewhere for other hp envy models.
