Public bug reported: With the release of a package with the official nvidia tegra drivers in Quantal, I hoped that I will able to read my video files on my ac100 with hardware acceleration (as with original Android).
With mplayer provided by default with the lubuntu distribution, the whole system freezes for each format I tried (mpeg2, H264 ...) I would try VLC (that support OpenMAX), but I doesn't find how to rely it with the NVidia implementation (given by libnvomxilclient.so I suppose) I don't know if I had completly miss the good way to read a video with Quantal, or if I'm on the right direction ... I think that if I'm right, I will not be the only one that is interested by this subject ... Thanks a lot Flo ** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-tegra (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-tegra in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067392 Title: How to use NVidia video hardware acceleration ?
