You have been subscribed to a public bug: Video is still blue using NVIDIA cards on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
I have no idea how to fix this. The web is clogged with bad advice and out-of-date solutions. Turning off hardware acceleration fixes the issue but is a totally inadequate work around. The CPU gets insanely hot and the fan screams like a dying child during video. The other "solutions" floating around (like messing with the Flash config files) don't seem to work, nor does updating to latest version of flash. This is a top priority issue and it has been around for over a year now. ** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- NVIDIA blue (aka smurf) video problem is still an issue on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066103 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
