I have exactly the same problem.

My Graphic Card is: Intel Corporation 82865G/PE/P

Linux 3.6.3-1-ARCH #2 SMP PREEMPT Mon Oct 22 12:55:44 CEST 2012 i686
GNU/Linux

After Update to newer version of the packages like RayT,
openglapplication crashes.

$ glxinfo

$ blender

Before Update to newer verison of xorg etc., everything was fine.

Please fix this, i tryed so long, nothing can fix this, i think its a
real bug.
