Oh the horror... Guess what? What ever upgrade came down the pipe earlier today did not seem to have survived a reboot. What a damn shame.
Now, my brightness control NO LONGER works, and we're back to square one. Still the same kernel, still on 13.04. I was so happy to see the brightness control work from the Brightness and Lock settings, and from the Fn Keys... but no... Really, though -- what's happening here? How much more frustrating can it get? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-updates in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1046088 Title: No Brightness Control on ASUS G75VW Notbook (304.43) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1046088/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
