Hi, I think the problem may be due to overheating. I've added an
additional fan pointing directly at the graphics card and made sure my
computer has space to vent heat, and I've not had any problems since. I
did this around 7 hours ago and the computer has been running since,
letting me play games and stream video at the same time on multiple
monitors.

Before doing this I was experiencing the crashing on both Linux and
Windows 8 running on this pc.
